Where We Donate

Thrift 2 Fight funds organizations working at the intersections of racial justice, queer liberation, and disability rights activism. In 2021, the organizations we will be funding through sales from this online store are:

  • MMIWhoismissing - A 100% Indigenous-led sovereign and educational voice that advocates for grassroots efforts and supports tribal coalitions laying the groundwork, socially and politically to protect their Indigenous Populations from further colonial violence. This group uses modern tools, photo-documentary practices, and creative campaigning to sustain awareness and to promote the deep understanding we need in order to address the violence around missing and murdered Indigenous People. Read more about MMIWhoismissing here.
  • For The Gworls - A Black, trans-led collective that curates parties to fundraise money to help Black transgender people pay for their rent, gender-affirming surgeries, co-pays for medicines/doctor’s visits, and travel assistance. Inspired by Harlem Renaissance rent parties, this group combats the systemic & physical violence that disproportionately targets Black trans and gender non-conforming people. • The Fund for Community Reparations for Autistic People of Color’s Interdependence, Survival, and Empowerment - exists to provide direct support, mutual aid, and reparations by and for autistic people of color through microgrants. They are committed to the principles of Disability Justice, including leadership by those most impacted, intersectionality, anti-capitalist politic, cross-movement solidarity, interdependence, collective access, and collective liberation. Their work is grounded in commitment to ending extractive economies and building and sustaining generative economies. Read more about the fund here.
